Sorry guys, there wasn't any art last week. And there won't be for a while. This month is a deathtrap full of work, tests and whatnot. In the meantime and while I deal with all of that, enjoy a character quiz, stolen from *Blanke :

Ankara of the Tek Union


(also known by her serial, AK-3N)

2) How old is he/she?

3) Is your OC a boy or girl?
A girl (though physiologically speaking she would be neither)

4) What's his/her race?
Cyber

Appearance

1) If this character were to suddenly become part of the 3D world, and ended up in a heavily-populated area, how many stares would he/she get?
3D world means our world, right? In that case I am guessing hundreds, though she certainly wouldn't like it.

2) Is your character considered normal in his/her own world?
Yes. Well, at least from the 'cyber' point of view. The hitaskans view her and other cybers as a supernatural beings.

3) What would be his/her most recognizable feature(s)?
The wings, of course

4) Would you consider your OC as attractive?
Yes. And she has to be attractive to a certain degree. As Matrix's diplomat and ambassador, she must be able to win people's hearts and trust at first glance.

Personality

1) Temper?
She will usually express her disagreement, but if there are no other options, she might as well let something pass. Ankara avoids violence whenever possible.

2) Does your character ever get depressed?
Yes. She has a hard time when assimilating an abrupt change--an indirect consequence of a cyber's virtual immortality.

3) Leader or Follower?
Follower. Ankara is usually a poor leader.

4) What is the main aspect of his/her personality?
Her emotiveness and care for others, especially her family. Though this sometimes makes her impulsive and immature, it is her greatest asset which, combined with her appearance often causes her to earn the trust of those around her with litte or no effort.

History

1) Did your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive?
Within the Tek Union, though there are no real blood bonds, cybers usually have a family-like regard for each other, following the teachings of Tek Magnus. Ankara is particularly attached to Matrix who she regards as a father. Although Izo is younger than her, he often views her as his 'little sister', mainly because of each other's personalities.
Another important, familiy-like figure in Ankara's life was Sigil, (an unintroduced character) her personal bodyguard when she was the Tek Union's ambassador in the UN, but he is now deceased. (or rather murdered)

2) Is your character out on his/her own? If so, why?
Not really. She has found company in the rather disfunctional group that Cyan joined, led by Ark Shas'vre

3) Has he/she encountered any traumatizing events?
Yes. The first Doomsday War was a constant chain of such events for her. Cyan was constantly exposed to danger, many of her friends died, and she was even forced to lead the Tek Union's troops once. (Needless to say, this was a complete disaster and earned her the perpetual hatred of the doomlords)

4) What was probably the best time in his/her life so far?
Her first days in the Tek Union. She was finally given some measure of freedom and the revolution hadn't become a war yet.

Romance

1) Single?
No. Ankara is engaged to Cyan. Though it is difficult to see why, have in mind that Cyan did not always look that way.


2) Has your OC developed any romantic relationships?
See above.

3) Virgin?
Unnaplicable term when talking about cybers.

4) Does your character like flirting?
Only in secluded situations and when not many are watching.

1) What animal would you associate your OC with?
Dove

I have no idea.

1) Do you draw your character?
Umm....yes.

2) Do you write about him/her?
Yes as well.

3) Do you use him/her in any rpgs?
Nope. I would find it extremely difficult though.

4) What other ways have you appreciated your OC?
By far, the most popular character in my whole gallery.

RANDOMIZE!

1) Is your character wanted for anything?
After leaving the Tek Union, Ankara is targeted as a traitor. The doomlords also want revenge for the aftermentioned military disaster that Ankara led their soldiers to.

2) What are three weaknesses in him/her?
1. Never relies on logic; she would rather follow the slightest hunch.
2. Her hatred for violence often leads her to defend herself when it is already late.
3. Her wide range of emotions can be easily affected through simple speech.

3) Strengths?
1. Swift: she implements the use of her wings when in battle and relies on speed more than anything else.
2. Often inspires trust in those around her, even enemies.
3. Determined and passionate

4) Does your OC drink or smoke (ect.)?
Nope. Cybers do not eat or drink. Their most organic need is sleep.

5) What's one quirk about him/her?
She will use every available opportunity to make fun of Shadawn or annoy him in some way. Usually, she plays puns on his short stature.

6) Does your character have any phobias?
Perhaps change is the thing she is most afraid of.

7) What could you do to get him/her into a blind rage?
Harm Cyan or better still, turn him against her. Failing that, I would fill her life with the violence and lies she dislikes so much.

8) Does your OC like chickens?
I doubt it. Ankara usually has a disdain for organic creatures and their 'messy' ways.

The Final Question

What would you consider your relationship with your character to be like?
I usually credit her for impulsing this dA page. As Ankara represents emotion and passion, I sort of feel identified with her sometimes.
